Tea ceremony
Adult: 4,000 yen (incl. admission) Reservation required at least three days in advance.
You can experience the tea ceremony in Saisetsu-tei, the oldest teahouse in Kanazawa.
For the first bowl of tea, you will watch the tea ceremony performed in front of you. For the second bowl, you will make the tea yourself.
A fresh confectionary is served with the first bowl, and a dry confectionary is served with the second bowl. Enjoy the Japanese sweets of Kanazawa.
Our staff will give advice to guests experiencing the tea ceremony for the first time. Please feel free to join in.
* For private use of the teahouse, there is a separate charge of 8,000 yen, regardless of the number of people.

How about taking a rest at Saisetsu-tei, which is located at the top of the garden, while enjoying matcha and a Japanese confectionary(tea is served freshly prepared).?
You can enjoy a moment of serenity and tranquility while admiring the historic garden.
For visitors who do not wish to experience performing a tea ceremony, but wish to experience being a tea ceremony guest, no reservation is required. Please let us know(however, if the room is fully booked, you will not be admitted).
